Joseph Steven Kossak, passed away on November 19, 2024 at the age of 69. He was born on December 20, 1954, in Detroit, Michigan, and spent his life creating lasting memories in the places he called home.
Joseph had a passion for building and craftsmanship, immersing himself in hobbies that showcased his creativity and skill. He enjoyed constructing model cars, boats and airplanes, a testament to his nature and love for detail. His was also known as a handyman, as he could fix anything around the house. Joseph was dedicated to his work at Plumbrook Medical Center, where he served as a handyman, contributing to the well-being of both the facility and its patrons.
As a devoted animal lover, Joseph shared a special bond with his beloved dog, Kailey, who brought companionship to his life.
Joseph is survived by his son, Jeremy (Amber) Kossak, and his grandson, Bradley Kossak. He is also survived by his brother, John (Elizabeth) Kossak, and his sister, Susan (Leonard) Herrman, and several close friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Constance, as well as his grandparents, Demetri and Julia, and Sam Amato and Rose Szpond.
Joseph will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
